Did I spot a BMW, Laverda and Kawasaki all saying "ride me!"? Almost right, a 1975 BMW R90s, a 1971 Laverda 750S and a Ducati 860 GTS Bevel drive

Did I spot a BMW, Laverda and Kawasaki all saying "ride me!"? You are almost right. The bikes are a 1976 BMW R90S, a 1971 Laverda 750S and a Ducati 860GTS Bevel drive. This Ducati has the same rear light as some Kawasaki's from that period

Peter, you have some nice toys! I also have a 1972 Triumph Tr6c, and a 1976 Suzuki GT 750. It's nice being back in the 1970's !! Cheers. Ray

Cheers Ray. My first bike was a Suzuki T500, the smaller air cooled brother of your water cooled GT750 which is an icon in bikers history. In Holland it was nicknamed "the water buffalo"

My first bike was a BSA Bantam that had been stripped for scrambling, it came in a box of bits for twenty pounds. I really moved up market next a BSA A10 (650 - pre-unit) for fifty pounds. On moving to Australia I parted with my BMW K1. Far too dangerous to ride a MC in WA.
