Hi guys By dash I mean the instruments. I'd like to fit the coupe binacle, and gauges in to my saloon. Has anyone out there done this and if so what's involved ie is it fairly straightforward?
Cheers

Hi Len,
When i modified my daily P5B Coupe from RHD to LHD, i had an LHD saloon wiring loom and modified it for the Coupe instruments. It is not too difficult as there are 3 alternations to make. 1: in the saloon there is a wire running from the ignition lock to the coil and for the Coupe rev counter you have to run this wire from ignition lock to rev counter and from the rev counter to the coil. 2: on a Coupe there is a small additional wiring loom with 4 bulb holders for the lights into the seperate gauges. It consists of a few red/white (or white/red) and black wires and 4 bulb holders and can be connected with the original wiring loom. You could ask David Green or someone else with a spare Coupe loom for this small wiring loom. It could be that you have remove some black tape to separate the wires for the fuel, charging and temperature gauge from the main loom. As far as i remember, these wires were long enough to use without lengthening 3: the oil pressure gauge is not fitted onto the saloon. I can't remember if i have added an additional wire running from the oil pressure sender to the gauge or that is was already in the loom. If the wire, running from the sender to the oil pressure gauge is not integrated in the saloon loom you need to add this.
regards Peter
