Good morning!
The window winder on the LHS back door is blocking. Before I disassemble the whole lot, is there anything obivous that I might be missing? It was working very well over the past 2+ years.
If I need to take of the door card, is there anything important to pay attention to, other than removing the door handle and window crank prior to removing the card? The card itself, I suppose, will be clipped on.
Cheers, Olaf

Card is just clipped on - may be part seized in track where felt has loosened or just general lube required. Do not force it the teeth are weak.

Last weekend I finally managed to unmount the door card. Took me the better part of an hour to remove the retainers for the winder and the door handle.
I don't see any obvious reason for the blockage. And I didn't yet dare to remove the mechanism. Is it OK to just unscrew it? The spring looks pretty massive and I don't want to break anything while trying to inspect/repair it!

You wont break anything just watch your fingers the teeth on the quadrant can be sharp if very worn? if the spring for the quadrant is part wound leave it like that until you remove it! good luck Just read your first post wear on the rear wont be a problem they never seem to suffer as the front Coupes do!

I just took a closer look at the inside of the door, luckily I bought an endoscope recently. Here's three pictures of the winder. To me it looks like it's distorted and it also seems that it has come loose at the upper end. Or should it look like this? Cheers, Olaf Attachments:
