Hi everybody I was wondering whether anyone has a colour card or cards for the Rover P5B as it would be useful in getting a colour match for my cars coach lines which need to be Silver Birch as the car is Bordeaux

I think I may have one David. What info do you need?? If I can find it I will email it to you.
I just remembered David that the other thread on this subject has some detailed info posted in it regarding coach lines etc.

Hi Brendan I need some photos of colours that were on the Rover P5Bs I have found the colour codes on the forum that were relevant at the time they were ICI codes so that gives the percentages and colours that make up Silver Birch which as I understand it was a body colour and a coach line colour. However a photo of the colour would also be an advantage I think

The difficulty with photos will be reproducing the colour correctly.
Factor in the camera/phone type, the format of the photo itself, the device on which it is viewed (desktop/tablet/laptop/phone), then the manufacturer, as each uses a different RGB profile and you will end up with a similar but not exact match.
Also colour in such a thin line is never exact as your eye is unable to differentiate subtle differences. Getting a close match in a pot will look exact when applied as a line.

All I have David is what you already have I think.

I used model paint.
Picked up 3 little pots and went with the closest shade of grey. You can tweak the colour with a little mixing easy enough.
