Hi all, My partner and I picked up a 1962 P5 3 litre a few months back. It's all in good working order but I accidentally broke the coolant overflow hose that was very old and deteriorating. I made a mental note to replace it and when I came back to it the other day I could not figure out where that overflow hose is meant to go into. My memory is terrible. I've scoured the net for photos that show where the hose goes but I haven't found any with that level of detail yet. I spent a good hour looking around under the hood and now feel like a total dumbass. If anyone can help by describing where the overflow from the top of the radiator is meant to go I'd extremely grateful. Also any general advice about flushing the coolant and servicing the cooling system would be much appreciated. The coolant in there is looking pretty gross. The other thing I haven't worked out about this car yet is how to top up/replace the automatic transmission fluid, and on that note can anyone advice what the best kind of fluid to use for that gearbox is? I'm really new to Rovers, and old cars in general. She is a beauty and I'm going to put all the effort into learning about her and maintaining her well. Thank you everyone!
