About 7 or 8 years ago, there were 203 known P5Bs in Australia.

1st August 1973 Rover P5B saloon Hi All, I've already clicked for my 3.5 Coupe' but, like Brendan69 above, my car was also registered on the 1st August '73 - making them both 'M'-Reg cars...I just wondered how many 'M'-Reg's there were??? Maybe the subject for another thread though??? Minty Hi Minty, I would imagine there were quite a few registered on M plates as no doubt Rover were doing deals on the selling off of the final cars with the exception of the batch of Government/MOD Black saloons which I saw in the flesh years ago all stored in long term care and preservation status at a big Army vehicle distribution base I frequented often. I nearly bought a 74 N reg model about 6 years ago but passed on it in the end as the seller was being too greedy and the car had issues at that time. No doubt its now with a new owner and being loved again. The Government/MOD batch of cars were still being used up until around 1981/2 time so would have had either age related numbers or year issued numbers so could easily have been N, P, R ,S, T, V, W registered cars but ive never seen one on any apart from the N reg I nearly bought. A lot of them were sent abroad too as Diplomatic cars and Military staff cars for top brass and more than likely scrapped by now sadly. Regards,
