... fuse had blown sadly so had the Immobiliser Bl@@dy hell, John. What type of fuses do you use? Yes, they're supposed to blow when overloaded, but they're not supposed to blow up. I've never seen so much damage. Lucky you weren't driving when it went off.

I never knew where the fuse was Warwick it was the original fuse 10A! it's never been a problem in my 20 years of owning the car, it just wouldn't start. I had to remove the dash to find the connections they must have removed it when they fitted the alarm as a lot of the connections were behind the dash unless the installer was the size of a mouse lol!!

... I had to remove the dash to find the connections ... Sorry John. I misunderstood. I thought you were saying that the fuse blew your dashboard apart. P.S. I should have added a smiley face after my previous post. I've edited it and added one.

Aussies are more sophisticated these days John, they've moved on to drinking 'plonk' since the 70's... that's red and white wine. Stubbies are tight shorts that guys like Paul Hogan wore ("throw another prawn on the barbe") during his peak celebrity period when he might also have had a 'stubby' beer in hand. These days it'd be a boutique beer...."the times are a changin'!"

Vince you will be telling me next Cork rimmed Hats and Budgie Smugglers aren't the normal anymore sitting around a campfire drinking a boutique beer and wine destroys my image of the Tough Aussie life
