Hi I've got a problem with the n/s /f inertia seat belt in the Rover it keeps locking up and is sometimes difficult to use. So can they be adjusted so to speak or is it a case of buying either a new one or a pair if they don't come individually and if so who sells them please

Panic over problem solved no need for advice or help I found the fault and fixed it and I'm happy again Hello from a newbie P5B owner and club member. I couldn't see how to post a "new thread" or start a Forum question so please forgive my odd intrusion and move this to the correct area for me? I searched for "seat belts" because I wanted to replace the static black front belts with beige inertia belts. First attempt at purchase two weeks ago resulted in an inappropriate (ill-fitting) set. Waste of money. Advice please, and I've got a request out to Quickfit in the meantime. The real reason for posting is this. My new P5B is a Zircon Blue 1972 registration OUC 740L and I think it might be a known car in the club as there was an old club sticker in the front window. It seems to have been restored recently. Any information gratefully received (including how to work this website ! ? ..... as you can maybe tell - I'm of a certain age) Cheers,

I bought front seatbelts from Quickfit some two years ago, with chrome pillar loops, swivels and bolts. The invoices lists them as "K12 450mm STR STALK (18)" and I payed £200. I'm very happy with them!

I'm very happy with them! Seat belt kept locking up and we were unable to extend it I thought it was broken but not the case all it was, was that the reel where the belt is fed from was off centre thus making the mechanism lock up when I straightened it up it was fine

Has anyone found any period correct looking seatbelts for a P5 during their restorations?
I am struggling to find anything that looks reasonable.

Quickfit (not the exhaust/tyre place) make period belts in period colours, static or inertia
