hi I need some advice on refitting offside rear catch box and striker plate fixing I have fitted new rear c post inner and outer panels upto striker plate but had to remove fixing due too seized screws have got new wadhams catch box . does the fixing for striker plate weld too inner arch area or inside catch box and does face of catch box fit behind door shut face or does it replace it as mine was badly corroded here I have seen pics on here but it does not show face area or if anyone has pics thanks would be greatfull for any info thanks oh its a p5b coupe thanks

Not 100% clear what you mean but the catch box on the D post (the C post abuts the B post ie the middle post- the front door side being the B post the rear door side being the C post!) is welded to the rear of the top vertical flat part of the D post which was intact on mine but I have not seen the Wadhams version The photo is best I have of the lower part from INSIDE the wheel arch before the inner arch D post panel is fitted Below is other side of car from inside

thanks very much for picks your right I meant the c post but I can see what I need to I just need to know if wadhams panel is the face panel ie striker plate area or if it goes behind original panel thanks sorry for not explaining properly was very tired that night thanks
