Hi Guys I have to replace my roof areil with a new one. I have got one from JRW but its not the same as the old type so i have to replace the complete unit inc the cable. Its the cable that i was wondering about. Can i replace the areil without taking off the roof lining and other bits and bobs buy attaching the old cable to the new some how and pulling it thru. Has anybody done this replacement this way. Look forward to your reply guys

You only need to remove the header and N/s upper A screen trim to access aerial fixing and cable and you may be lucky and find the existing aerial lead is compatible if its not corroded internally.
If you have to replace the lead then the only tricky part is where it goes down the small gap at the dash top but its better than most
