Can anyone tell me how the inner wing to rear sill end should be finished originally. I am at the point where these are being finished and I am not sure that what was there when we started was as it should be. I have seen Peter's work showing how the outer sill should meet the bottom of the door but need to know how the inner closing panel should look. I know this is difficult to photograph but can anyone help? Positively my last bodywork query I promise! I promise to post some pre painting pics and a description of progress to date soon. Thanks in anticipation. Cheers. Dave

Thanks once again Peter. Your photos are invaluable. As you know the outer sill ends do not come complete with a closing panel so this needs to be hand fabricated. I now know how they should look. Cheers. Dave

Here is mine - note how the inner D post drops below the outer sill bottom which does not continue its lower edge turn Attachment Deleted down to the end. As I will be taking a pic of the boot liner I will do some of the sill end from nearer the floor. George Parker's sill trim photo shows it up well (he has original sills still fitted!) its on here somewhere

Iae
I had the same problem.."length" wise i adjustment the sills but also removed the door skin to twist the door frame a bit. Was also good to repair the door skin and frame in the corners and remove rust. But it takes a fair amount of time
