Anyone know where I can get a P5B horn relay? I have tried the usual suspects (Wadhams, Dave Greens, EBAy etc.) but although they all seem to have the horn relay for the P5 mk1, 2 or 3 no one has one for the P5B.
I'm no expert so maybe the P5 horn relays are the same for the P5B?
Can someone advise?
Thanks

Unless you're looking for originality, any horn or headlight relay will do the job. Just choose one that has suitable terminals.

They don't have one! just the horn push and that's it Really? Doug at Ely Service told me the reason my horn has stopped working is because the relay is faulty and needs replacing. Now, I'm really confused. Anyone else out there have any views on this? PS It has now been suggested to me that the standard Lucas 6RA relay is used. Any thoughts?

I would ask Doug where it is on a P5b the wiring diagrams may give you a clue

According to the WSM, only the P5 Mk I and II had a horn relay, the rest including P5Bs all are wired direct.

i fitted a relay to my horns. It could be that in the past someone fitted a relay to haikuheads car and that it is not oke anymore. The horns draw a fair amount of current threw the flimsy contacts of the horn switch so it is not a bad idea to fit a relay.
