Hello Everyone
I'm a new owner of a P5B, and (possibly foolishly) I have one that needs some welding & work before it can get it's MOT. I probably should have left it for a while as I have too many other projects on the go at the moment; but I've bought just what I could afford at the moment, and if I left it much longer I'd probably miss the chance altogether.
What I'm hoping to find is a 'suitable' welder / mechanic that could get the car just up to MOT standard (so it can be on the road & not clogging up my workshop). I'll then be able to fit the resto in between the others as time's available.
Do any of you know of someone (man or company) in the Kings Langley / Hemel Hempstead area (Herts) that would fit the bill?
Cheers, Steve

There are very few P5's that do not need welding and the term "some" is very elastic. Patching up to get it through an MOT is a waste of time and money and even then the time spent will be more than first thought

Thanks for the replies.
Phil - You hit the nail on the head. I'm just looking to complete what's needed for the MOT at the moment, but to a better standard than just a patch up even though the rest of the car looks tired & tatty. I'm just concerned that, if I use someone (unsuitable) who doesn't appreciate classic cars, the car's appearance may affect the amount of attention they pay to the necessary work.
Harvey - Thanks, I'll give them a call.
