My passenger dook lock has started acting up. It doesn't always latch when the door is closed so I have to make sure it is locked before driving off.
The door is fitted correctly so I think that the lock itself must be on the way out. If I managed to secure a replacement (I'm going to try David Green) will it be easy to fit or are there hidden traps I should be aware of?
Cheers, Keith

Try Search - but advise as Coupe or Saloon as both totally different

Replaced the door lock today but have one small problem. The lever that connects the lock to the interior door handle was held in place by a (not sure of the proper name) washer that pushes onto the thin rod at the end of the lever. It came off OK put I'm blowed if I can get the B****r back on. Is there a trick to it or can they be used only once? Is there any alternative way of fixing it?
Many thanks, Keith

Strong finger tips! They can be used more than once if they are not bent - then they will just fall off again
Alternatively try some fairly stiff nylon or copper tube of a bore large enough for the rod to go into without too much slack and some grease to hold everything together - this works but its the access that is awkward
