I know that the puriest's will hate me. But ive just put Whitewall on my p5b. The car is white so they look great, it will be ready for next year to earn her keep doing weddings in and around london. I bought them from BRAVADO automotive, 5 for £43.50p I thought was a good price.

It is a good price! Would n't have been too bad if they were £43.50 each. What make and size are they?

I think I should have said that they are white wall "rubbers". You let your tyres down and just clip them under the rim and pump up and go. They really do look the part, you would have to be on your hands and knees to spot that they are not all in ones. they are 15" and look ace on my rostyles.

Interesting. Never come across these 'rubbers' before. Whitewalls were more popular in USA, but I can imagine they look well on a white P5.

These have been advertised for some time now, and yes they look good, especially on a dark coloured car. They are available in narrow band and wide band. Personally I prefer the narrow band. However just a word of warning, they can occasionally lift off the tyre and bulge, and then it looks as though you have fault in the sidewall of the tyre.

How long did it take before they started to bulge and was there any reason ie motorways, bad roads ect. I might keep them just for the summer wedding season. I mean what new bride wants to sit on a damaged rubber on her wedding day. cheers joe.
