Hi all - I have just purchased a black 3 Litre MkII Saloon. It is a 1964 year model, RHD Export Automatic, which was originally purchased by the NSW Railways Department in March 1963. Attachment DeletedIt is one of the cars that formed part of the Flynn collection, but has taken a little while since the November 2016 auction to find a "forever home". The car is a companion for my 1958 105S Attachment Deleted It will hopefully be an every day driver once sorted. It is rust free, with straight panels and good chrome. The paint is original and very thin, and the interior needs a thorough makeover, but the car is complete, and runs and stops well. Hoping to draw on the collective wisdom of the group as I proceed with the tidy up!

Congratulations, you have what is nearly the best car Rover ever built (only a white 3 litre Mk II coupe was better) and the best P4 they built.
You are one lucky punter. Are you a Rover Car Club member anywhere?

Are you a Rover Car Club member anywhere? Thanks - I've previously owned V8s (a 3.5 litre coupe, and 2 3500s) but after a bit of a break in Rover ownership picked up the P4 in November last year. I'm a member of the Rover Owners Club of NSW and the ACT, and of the P4 Drivers Guilds in Australia and the UK. I like the spec of both cars, although I'm a little worried about addressing a gearbox leak on the Mk II.
