I've seen a couple of 'burnt grey' roofs on P5B's, and they certainly looked more brown than grey to me. They may have been repainted, but the owners in each case said that the colour was burnt grey. Perhaps there was a colour blind person in the Rover paint shop..........

My Rover is burnt grey. I had a job getting paint to match,in the finish I took the whole car along to a paint suppliers near me and they provided me with a tin mixed and matched by hand (and what looked like a microscope. They said that paint used to be mixed by volume but is now done by weight so maybe that explains the difficulty buying 'off the shelf' as it were. The roof on mine is silver birch,I'm going to paint it as it has a dent (not guilty) and the paint has almost gone through to the primer in a couple of places (not guilty again).

Don't forget the bottom rear filler strip Carey also take the rear screen seal out and check each side bottom corner for corrosion! You may be lucky and the trim clips will line up usually better to weld up the holes if the wings are not from the same car.
