Morning all, In my quest to make my new Rover P5B saloon as good as I can, I'm going to re-varnish the wooden dash panels. Before I go in with a blunt screwdriver and hack them to bits can anyone tell me how they affix. As far as I can see, there is one panel in each corner, one either side of the steering wheel, and of course the glovebox. What type of varnish would be recommended for them and the wood door panels? Many Thanks, Steve

Dozens of thin coats of Yatch varnish but you will have to use a stain to get the dirty brown finish that Rover put on. They held on by numerous small screws.
