When I purchased this car I knew exactly the look I wanted. As nice as the standard stainless all in one trim and hubcap combo was it was going to interfere with my Ravus trim rings and whitewall flaps, so they had to go. Ravus is a German Company I came across them about 6 years ago and ordered a set for my campervan. (They are still on and just as good.a condition as new). Apparently my claim to fame was being the first person to order from the UK! Unlike those cheapo flaps which most people dont like, these are pretty clever. Its a standard stainless trim ring, then you attach the whitewall ring to it and also a seperator ring between the whitewall and tyre. So you can just pull them off the wheel when you change tyres and no deflating inflating shenanigans. As luck would have it there were a set of P4 hubcaps on fleabay which I took a chance on. They turned up today so off I went assembled the trims and polished up the hubcaps, knocking most of the dents out of them, (they were not that expensive so I am not too bothered). Me being me I couldn't wait so inspite of the fading light and snow showers there I was outside getting cold wet and a few colloquial words to help me fit them. There is always one that is awkward. Anyway they are on, it probably looks more like a mk1 now but I prefer the chrome single hubcaps personally. More 50's Americana probably. So now it feels more like my car. Hope you like them? Off with their heads!! Quite pleased with just the hubcaps Looks a bit Police carish? Assembled Ravus flaps. Underside with evil sharp teeth be careful. The gangsters are in town! Better daylight pictures

They look great, have you thought of colour matching the wheels with the body to finish it off?

Not sure hence some photoshop to get an idea? But in the scheme of things it will have to wait for now, other more pressing jobs to do first and revisit in Summer. (I say Summer over here its 3 days in March and thats it!) 😂
