How can I be sure that my messages are being received? i have sent 4 messages to Sye regarding a windscreen that he was selling for a P5B, but to date have received nothing at all. I even asked him to just acknowledge my interest by letting me know if it was still available, but he will not reply. I am amazed that he would not reply at all, so hence I ask the question? Tarnowl.

Notify the recipient in the 'post/thread' of interest by stating that you've sent them PM.

There can be several reasons. Firstly, he posted about the windscreen on the 29th August and hasn't logged in since the 31st. If he doesn't log in, he won't get the notification indicator appearing in the forum banner, and if he doesn't log in he won't be able to go to his message box to read it anyway. And he may not have set his preferences to have the forum send him an email to say that he has a message waiting.

He was last on line Aug 30, 2018 at 5:17pm. He will get notifications that a message(s) have been sent by visiting this site and by email. Could be a number of things (holiday/family/health/broken laptop or software) why he has not replied. I would suggest you just wait a bit longer.

I have received a message that Sye was admitted to hospital. Hope he is doing OK. Very sorry to hear about Sye. That must be why he was unable to reply to my messages. I hope that he makes a speedy recovery.
