My P5B Saloon is almost ready to go back on the road and one of the things that needs sorting out is the clock. It's never been accurate. Can this be rectified.

The clock probably just needs a clean and a lubricate here is a link to a previous post roverp5.proboards.com/thread/8941/clock-overhaulI wouldn't use WD40 to lubricate though brake cleaner is okish! for cleaning The clock is not 100% accurate but near enough when sorted

when you have cleaned, lubricated the clock, fitted the anti-arcing diode and it is time to set the clock speed, there is an app for android devices that will give a visual representation of the clock speed that is so fine that you can adjust the clock to within a minute per day in a process that takes about 5 mins. (learning to use the program however takes a couple of hours!).
The device listens to the clock ticking and shows microseconds deviation from expected ticks.
It is called "Clock Tuner".
I downloaded it onto my wife's tablet and have now set the clocks in all three of my Rovers.

Thank you I will try it, if you hadn't off posted this suggestion I would never have even thought anything like this existed.
