After a lengthy lay up it’s time to frighten the locals again and get the Rolex back on the road, the brake servos sticking, where’s the best place for rebuild kits?

Wadhams, but if the car has been laid up for a long time there could be corrosion within the servo and it might be best to buy a replacement.

MGBD Parts, who specialise in P6 parts will do overhaul your P5 servo (they have mine right now). Standard cost is £135 (no VAT). They did my P6 one recently, looks like new.

I did mine myself with parts from Nelson. There was no corrosion or signs of wear inside,if there had been any it would have been a different story. Nelson have a good catalogue with dimensions etc, handy for sourcing seals.

I got a new replacement from ebay for about £150-£180. Something like that. Fitted and has worked perfectly for the last few years.

Thanks for the replies, I’ll strip it this weekend with a view to sticking a seal kit from powertrack in
