If it was a red 2 door, they only made 400. Mine is a black 2 door..

Deffo a 2 door model with a raised boot spoiler on the back and a duck spoiler on the front valence. Fast as hell but rusted just as fast sadly.
Very comfortable car to drive though and made a few trips back and fro to uk and Germany before I gave it up for a Merc 190 Cosworth Evo.

A raised boot spoiler would make it a 3 door, Brendan. ;-) My pride & joy. Photoshoot for Classic & Sportscar.

Arrhh yeah I see what you mean David. Yes mine was the same model as your pride and joy albeit in RED with black spoilers and other bits I seem to remember albeit we are going back to around 1988/9 I think.
It was those alloys which I loved too. Regards,

Oh yes - SAABs. Our second car back in the early 90'ies was a red SAAB 96 V4 from 1973. What a wonderful car. Should have kept it, of course.
How is the spare part situation for SAABs today? Any new parts available like for the P5's?

Hi Jens,
Not any issue with parts as that side of their business was not affected. The problem is people think that because the car maker has gone then parts are hard to get!
Merry Christmas!
