I went to Bristol on Saturday & bought a Silver Birch over Arden Green Coupe. It's a very smart looking car but there is quite a bit of room for improvement, bodily it's pretty sound with a little blistering to the O/S/R wing & a little patch of corrosion in the boot floor which would be best chopped out & replaced, the rear bumper has a small ding on one corner & a ropey overrider but I'm sure I have some new overriders somewhere in my collection of stuff. The interior is ok but a little tired. Other than that it's tidy enough under the bonnet but by no means mint, but I quite like that. It doesn't pull very strongly & seems to run a bit lean, sometimes needs a touch of choke just to pull away at a junction. It drove nicely on the way back but I had no panel lights................I suspected the rheostat but on further investigation someone has refitted the switches in the wrong positions, so if I'd only turned the wipers on I would have had lights I'll try & pop a couple of pics on later once I've worked out how to get them on here

....for a moment there, and just for a moment whilst I was reading the above, I thought you'd say, "and yes, this is the Roger Moore car from the movie, "The Man Who Haunted Himself!" Good luck with your new acquisition.
