Hi.
Not for the Rover but for something older (1913 Cadillac) i need to remake a couple of parts. These are i think made in pot metal and are not under any high stress. Rather than making a new cast from the old parts and casting them, i thoughg it shojld now be relatively simple to get ghe original parts scanned, fixed in the model fild anc the 3d printed or machined. However im struggling to find someone who does this on a small scale and at a not stupid price. I remeber seeing something like this on wheeler dealers but have not been able to find any companies ghat could help me.
So I thought I'd try here and see if anyone knew of anything. I'm findin lots of places willing to sell me the scanner and printer, but no one doing the production. Thinking this mus be relevant for our cars too, and certainly going forward i see this as the way to source most obsolete parts, but apparently not quite yet?

I'm sure there is a bloke on the Classic Rover Forum that can do this either as one-offs or limited runs, IIRC he's in the USA but it might be worth you joining the forum and asking.
