Hello fellow Rover enthusiasts. My name is Paul - I live in the Latrobe Valley in Gippsland about 180K’s (130miles) east of Melbourne. My very first car was an Austin A40 Farina in 1967 - My first new car was a Mini Deluxe 998 - in 1969. After that I joined the mass migration to Japanese Cars and with a few exceptions along the way such as a Hillman Minx - a Peugeot 504 and a couple of Holdens along with a brief dalliance with a Volvo P6B, followed by a number of Volvo 240’s (much respect) that has been my motoring life - I have also been a keen motorcyclist for the last 48 years but missed the heyday of Brit bikes! Anyway, I arrived at a point where I wanted a nice classic car with all the chrome bits etc. and having always admired classic British Cars came upon a nice 1967 Rover P5 MKIII Coupe delivered new in Sydney....... I am once again happy to be driving a piece of British Motoring History! Cheers Paul

Congratulations, not many MK111s about.
Interesting wheels, looking at the rear one, are they Jaguar Kent Alloys?

Yes - it is mine and has been well cared for over the years. The wheels come from a company in Europe - are Maxilite and made soecifically for Jaguar - Jensen Interceptor and Rove P5 and P6 - not the Kent’s but may be styled on them! Cheers - Paul 😎

Hi Paul,
Where in the valley are you? I'm not quite in it.
