Just wondering if anyone can help with this. My 1972 Coupe came from the factory in white with a burnt grey roof, it is now being stripped back to bare metal ready for re-spraying, the issue that I have is that the car has previously been painted and the colour seems to be a lot whiter than the "Old English White" "WT3" the painter mixed up, looking at the areas that haven't been painted previously (inside the boot lid etc) they do look on the creamer side of white.
My last Coupe was the same colour with a black roof but I don't remember it being quite as cream as the paint mixed.
Any advice? I need to make a decision on the colour and would like to keep it as original as possible but don't want to have it painted in the wrong colour, is there another code for Old English White other than WT3?
Personally the creamy white always has that look of class over plain white especially with all the chrome back on and a different roof colour too. Your choice though buddy as its your car and your money no one elses
