If you follow "Barn Find Hunter" by Hagerty insurance on You Tube you will see three Rover P5's. One 1964 P5 two tone coupe and two P5Bs. He talks about them for a while. He usually travels around the USA looking for cars but his latest videos are from his visit to the UK. In a secret location there is a huge barn full of classic English cars, Standards/ Vauxhalls/Fords plus many others. The owner is anonymous and the registrations are hidden. Worth a look if only to see some rare British cars. A Vauxhall Brabham? Rob

Very interesting - 1 watched several before I could pick up any British cars. Did you keep the EP (episode) number of the one you referred to?

Very interesting barn find - the owner must be a hoarder or kleptomaniac - cant take them with him! was interested to hear the presenter Tom Cotter say that after Buick sold the rights to their V8 they wanted them back! He said that Rover offered to sell them the engines at $20,000 a throw! (needs citation!) He also remarked on the 1963 Vauxhall Vivo (sic) suggesting Vauxhall was a stand-alone manufacturer when I think they and Opel were tied up with GM by then??

I always think of Vauxhall and Opel as GM cars. I had the same reaction as Tom Cotter when I saw the air intake of a P5 3 litre for the first time. When I got my 64 the air intake was in the boot and I thought it was part of the exhaust. I still do not believe that such a hefty piece can allow the straight six breath but it works.
