On the P5 mark 11c there is a throttle lever which connects the carburetor spindle to the throttle linkage below. It is a rectangular shape with a clamping mechanism at the end that fits onto the throttle spindle. Between this 5/16” hole and the smaller hole at the opposite end the distance between the hole centers is 3 inches.
My lever is broken and so I have tried to source a replacement through Burlen Ltd and after talking with their expert over the phone and him pouring through various catalogues, we came to the conclusion that this part must have been unique to Rover as there is nothing of that size in Burlen’s part history.
Just thought I would share this for information and I have now spoken to David Green who is looking to see if he has a spare one in his stock

Can you post a picture of it? How is it broken?
