You will need to take the rear setback out and then there may be a few sheet meta screws at the front edge under the seat back (can't remember fully), but the steel frame is pop riveted to a fibre board sheet which is wrapped first with the vinyl. Basically the frame just sits down on the back of the seat. Attachments:

This is the arangement in my MK3 coupe. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of when I first installed the belts to the car. The front belts are inertia activated with the reel mounted just behind the front seat at full rearward extension slightly below and behind the B pillar. The outer 2 rear are shoulder/lap sash and the one in the middle purely lap sash (more suited to a small child.)
