Thanks David, And best wishes for the New Year to you and all forum members too. It certainly won't be difficult for it to be better than 2020. I have a nasty feeling that after tonight, we will see another big spike. NYE will be too big a temptation for the small minority that likes ignoring the rules. I hope I'm wrong.

Yes, happy New Year to all. Based on my conversations with friends in Australia, if Warwick thinks there's a problem with people ignoring the rules 'down under', it's nothing compared to the numbers 'up here' who seem to think nothing applies to them, or acknowledge what the rules are but still breach them because 'it's okay, we're being sensible and we feel okay'. Moan over

..... because 'it's okay, we're being sensible and we feel okay'. ...... Therein lies the problem, doesn't it Tony. There are those who don't give a stuff and are prepared to take a chance and ignore the rules. Always have been and always will be. But there are many more who honestly think that they don't have the virus, there is no way that they could have been infected, and that they're being very careful so it's quite safe to carry on as usual. It only takes a few of these people encountering another who has assumed incorrectly that they're okay, and everything snowballs. But we don't find out for a week or two.

All the best for 2021, I for one am happy to see the back of last year & the virus is only a part of it. So onwards & upwards, instead of backwards & sideways Happy New Year
