A friend has just taken delivery of what he thinks are old tools used on a Rover. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone recognise what these tools are?

They just look like workshop tools with 2 of them looking like ball joint splitters

The tool on the left is used to wind the rear brake caliper pistons in when fitting new pads on a P6.

The tools appear to be generic universal tools. The 3rd picture from the left is a valve spring compressor, and the 4th picture is a pittman arm or ball joint separator tool, the last picture looks like perhaps woodworking tools (corner clamp and ?)

The one on the right looks like the tool to compress the rubber springs on old minis with dry suspension.

Would he sell the P6 rear caliper tool, by any chance?

After 48 going on 49 years in the motor trade I can say that my absolute favourite job of all time is fitting rear pads and sorting out the rear brakes in general on P6 Rovers. Sadly there's not enough of them about to keep me in work, but if there were, I'd still be doing them. At one time I worked out roughly how many sets of rear pads I'd fitted up to thet point, and the profit from all of them would have been enough to pay for my house. Sadly, I'd spent it all.....
