I am hoping someone can help with some info regarding the live feed for the interior lights on a p5 b coupe. Mine have no power and I suspect something was dislodged when I replaced the sills several years ago. Can anyone tell me where the live feed comes in? I suspect it may be under one of the A post interior kick panels but I am not sure. I don’t want to have to take the whole headlining down!
Any suggestions welcome.

Dave The feed is from the top fuse 1-2 and the first in line is the front LH, so check there is 12v at this point?

The is a large bunch of bullet connectors tucked well up behind the n/s A post trim. These can corrode through water ingress. P5 have them on the o/s

The feed is indeed as Phil says. There is one purple wire feeding the whole circuit, switches and lights. It is included in the bundle from the 'A' Post which is routed along the LH sill top, under the tread plates, then up the rear wheel arch where it divides from the loom and up to the rear quarter, routing between the rear door and rear screen, joined by the earth wire for the loom, which is attached in that area to the body. There it joins a separate loom taken around behind the the heard lining which feeds the lights and switches down through the various door posts. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Yes that is correct. But dont forget at that rear NS Dpost quarter panel the purple from that loom wire is also spurred off to feed the rear cigar lighter, so if anyone has been messing about with that loom and the courtesy lights are blowing the fuse 1-2, the short may be at the rear or front cigar lighter so check both for shorts. ( something i learnt the hard way.)

Many thanks everyone. This gives me a good starting point for investigation. I suspect something is either corroded or has become dislodged. I will let you know how I get on. Cheers. Dave
