first class! Now we just need a tray box that has a complete set of tools. I have about 8 such trays, different sets of tools in each and not one complete!

Nice job! My tray is actually complete and quite alright looking. My problem is the release-mechanism where something broke off, I suppose (the lever is loose). Has anybody had this problem as well ..?

I too have a couple of trays with oddments but this one was complete. It still fits in the dash. Has anyone else used "Shadowfoam" or an alternative? Do you think deteriorated rubberised should be used because it's original?

Wow ! Well done ! Amazing transformation and, in truth, the icing of the cake !
You may be aware that Jon Wadhams have on stock the front piece of the tool tray, suitable to the MK I at least - and probably also for the other editions of P5. I recently got mine from him, and it looks very nice indeed.

Hello, looks like the Shadow foam is acceptable. I was wondering what you searched for on Wadhams? I have tried 'tool tray' with no success. I have noticed that the P4 tool tray looks very similar to the early P5 3 litre tray.

The P4 trays will fit up P5s to Mk2s. No lid though. I have one in our Coupe as I preferred the wood front and Mk2's have a curved plastic

My Rover is also a Mark 2 coupe, it came with two trays both with the plastic. This is very thin and fragile. I might still use the rubberised original.
