I had a brief chat with the new SVVF Chairman this weekend, and he advised that as a result of Covid and it's aftermath a number of events have either been re-scheduled, cancelled, have moved to new venues, or will not take place as originally planned. As a result the schedule of events shown in the 2022 SVVF Yearbook may no longer hold true. Organisers are being asked to notify the SVVF as and when such changes become necessary so that the on-line calender of events (SVVF.ORG.UK) gives an up to date picture as to what's on when and where. For example the SARR will NOT be held at Lathalmond in late May, a new venue is yet to be confirmed. Other events affected include the Borders event at Thirestane, and the Fife Historics at Lathalmond. The best advice is to check with event organisers before committing to travel, either as a participant or a spectator.
