Can you spot the difference? 1st picture was taken in the Dover Transport Museum in 2000 where the car resided for 12 years. 2nd picture was taken at the Thor, Asgard, residence 23rd April 2022. The car was last taxed Christmas 1999 and has not been taxed since. So after 22 years APN 210B is finally road ready and will be MOT'd and taxed shortly. All work was carried out in the Asgard workshop with no help from any Nibelung dwarfs. May I say a big thank you to the Rover forum members for their advice and putting up with inane queries at times. Also to David Green for parts and advice. Knowing classic cars I will continue to be pestering you. Hope to be at the Northern show in August. Attachments:

Looks nice and an East Sussex registration, do you know who the dealer was who supplied it ? Possibly Caffyns at Lewes ?

Mine was supplied in 1973 by Clark & Lambert, Eastbourne; later taken over by Caffyn's.

Hi, yes the car was delivered to 'Caffyns' Limited" Maidstone. I sent for the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Cert Factory Record. Date of build 27th April 1964. Dispatched on the 4 May 1964 to 'Caffyns' the oldest registered car dealer in UK, founded in 1865. Yes, I have not added the wing mirrors as I think I will put on ones that fit the door. Also I have the original wheel trims but having put one on and found they are tough to remove, I have left them off, incase after a while I need to remove the wheels. Does anyone know more about the cars 'Caffyns' used to sell?

I had a good look at their history. It would be interesting to know how many Rover P5's pottering around today were sold from Caffyn's

It depends whether they held just a dealership (likely) or a distributor such as Henley's which covered a large area including London. Distributors held dealerships as Henley's did and supplied the dealerships with new cars
