I have some unusual smoke appearing out the exhaust on my P5 Mk III.
It has been suggested that it is brake fuild that is sucked up into the manifold due a possible faulty booster.
Does this ring any bells for anyone?

This sounds very familiar. One of my previouse mk2 coupes kept me broke and when it started blowing white rings out of the exhaust after sitting at the lights, that was the final straw. I sold it for a song only to find out latter from the buyer that it was brake fluid being sucked into the manifold due to a defective booster. One recond booster latter problem fixed for him and a very despondent me. Regards Neil.

Very common - its best to convert servo to the cheaper/simpler/more reliable Lockheed Type 7 as used on Land Rovers and V8 P5's P6's
