Hi All,
Just musing really but has anyone tried putting triples on their 3l?
It looks like there is the space. But not sure a manifold exists out there and if the fuel pump can cut the mustard.
Really just thinking out loud and wondering if anyone cared to offer their thoughts...
Cheers

Not sure what gain you get - Rover tried twin SU's (as they were fitted to P4 105s) and it made only a slight addition to power output. They concluded the set-up expense in future maintenance and warraty did not warrant this. A triple set up would have been even more troublesome.
The original 5 bearing IOE engine used in the 1948 P3 75 had the Triple carbs on some set-ups - thsi had the cast-iron 1 piece manifold/head assembley.
The Westlake separate manifold /alloy head probably extracted the max useable power from the engine in its it final 7 bearing format
