Would appreciate a bit of help in solving a problem with my 1964 Mk 11 saloon. The brake lights only operate with a huge amount of pedal pressure. Is there any means of adjustment to ensure that they come on with normal pedal pressure, or is there a fault with the switch? Many thanks! David

It sounds like the brake light switch has failed - it screws into the T Junction near the brake pulleys in the engine compartment. They are not adjustable or serviceable
Wadhams sells them but there are two types one with a taper thread and one with a straight thread- they are not interchangeable so check which one yours is before ordering.
If you are quick you will not need to bleed the brakes

Many thanks for this, Phil - is there anything you don't know about these cars? Best wishes, David
