This therefore almost ties in with David Green's logbook he has to sell - at least David has done the decent thing and notified the DVLA of the scrapping as its all to easy to swap over cars with number plates these to make money from unsuspecting buyers

Just to show my age , how about the black and white film with Jack Hawkins ( speaking normally ) driving round in a 3 litre , distributing cut-in-half bank notes to potential baddies including a young Dicky Attenborough ? Think it was called "The League Of Gentlemen"; a Pinewood or Ealing job.I suspect that the Rover was intended to convey the image of wealth with a hint of the sinister.How times change !
