Went and checked on the car yesterday, started first time (which it always does) but after reading about the fires in a different tread i checked all my wiring.
All seems to be fine but on checking, my side lights don't work on the N/S (front or rear) but if i put dip beam on everything works fine.
Would i be right in thinking it maybe the connections? or a switch?
Wanted to get some input before i start taking to many things apart to find the fault

Sounds like you've switched on the park lights rather than the sidelights.

To elaborate in case you re unfamiliar with the switches: Turn the sidelight switch one way and you have the sidelights on, turn the same switch the OTHER way and you get the parking lights, ie the O/S sidelights ONLY.

How do you change the parking lights over to continental driving?
