Greetings, I recently had the pleasure of driving a friend's 1966 3 Litre MK IIc saloon as a wedding car. This P5 is a manual with overdrive model and has only had two female owners. The first owner being an almost famous NZ author,Mona Anderson. She wrote a series of books on her experiences on the remote Mt. Algidus Station (a High Country Sheep farm) in New Zealand's Southern Alps. The title of the her first book being "A River Rules My Life". What women buying Rovers? Hellfire they'll be getting the vote next.......?? Anyways she surely looked after her Rover very well. The blue leather seats and the glossy battleship grey paintwork are still in fine fettle. Oops, but I digress. This splendid Rover suffers from the niggle of a very slow filling petrol tank.If you don't trickle the fuel in there is a very viscious blowback which can make a mess of both the car and the driver. What can be done to cure this niggling problem? Cheers, Nick Rogers. Auckland,New Zealand.

???They can be very slow fillers - others are quite fast! Yours sound worse than usual!
Ensure all the vents are free particularly where they exit under the car. On the 3 Litree there are rubber sections which collapse and insects/spiders webs can cause partial blockage
