Nows a question to test you all. I was asked for a P5 3 Litre front bumper set and overrider's to fit a London Taxi!! On receipt of the parts it is apparent that the centre section is the same but the quarter bumpers are not as thick as the overrider on the current fitment as there is a gap at the bottom of the overrider. Were the old taxis fitted with P4 bumpers at the front?

I know that taxi overriders don't fit a P4 - As I was sold a set at an autojumble many years ago when I owned one! - so I guess the bumper must be different - I believe taxi overriders are the same as the ones fitted to Fords of that period - hope this is of some help!

P4 overiders may look the same but the cut outs are different - these Wilmot Breedon products were used on a lot of cars at the time eg Mk 2 Zephrs and Zodiacs early P4's had another design as well
