It seems a regular toopic in the financial press that the end is nigh and you will have to use water based paints etc and that it will be impossible to supply the general public.
Whilst things will change from next Jan how exactly is still not clear but my paint suppllier of many years of either cellulose, synthetic or acrylic is still able to to supply the whole range and has mixes details going back 60 years and someone who has a keen eye to match it exactly anyway. All at reasonable cost.
He is a client of my firm but apart from that I have no connection other than entire satisfaction.
I put his details on the club website years ago although I doubt if anyone looks there these days but he now supplies all over the country and is really confident of supplies for the foreeable future.
If you need some and cannot get satisfaction locally try him, mention my name, but I cannot promise any special discount! Ask for the boss who does not work Wednesdays now - Dave Clark
Its Morleys Derby Ltd and they are general motor factors, who also do Land Rover spares, oils etc. I have used them for years
So do not believe the profits of doom, who are most likely envious anyway ingham

Cellulose will not be going out as far as I'm aware for the forseeable future. This I'm told by my local paint supplier, as the main company who supplies most of the UK from its base in Manchester will have the necessary licence to produce it.
