Has anyone fitted a pair of SD1 heads? Is there any markings on the heads to say they are SD1,or anyway telling by looking at them Regards Pat

???Do not know about markings but the valves are a lot bigger - I haven't fitted any but others have.
You will have to experiment with mixture strength and timing as the SD1 has the low compression pistons

Pat speak to RPI engineering. I picked up a set of new SD1 heads minus the bits and peices and had them put on my p5b. By the time I bought the whole thing it would have been cheaper to buy RPIs heads that come as a complete kit including gaskets and pre loads done on lifters. There also very helpful on the phone. The guy to talk to is Holly their mechanic on 01603 891209. To all those like me that are not mechanics I learnt the dear way you much change the cam shaft if your rplacing the heads with new parts. +Good luck.
