Can anyone provide me with the correct otter switch for the choke light for a Mk1 3 litre? JR Wadhams has supplied me with AUD3936 but this is the wrong part! This is for switching an automatic choke on when the engine is cold and off when it warms up. The Rover choke light operates in reverse, i.e. it is off when cold and switches on when warm to remind the driver to push the choke back in. I have contacted Burlen fuel systems but they are unable to find any listing for it. Maybe if someone could give me the correct AUD number they may be able to get one. I think this was also fitted to P4 and P6 cars.

Thanks Phil, I'll try David Green tomorrow. Not sure if I know John Wearing - is he the guy in Clayton-le-moors in Lancashire? If so he's only a few miles away from me - might pay him a visit.

Great! John Wearing keeps these in stock - new old stock as they're not available any more but who cares?!? Once again, thanks for your help.

Oooh! Looks like replies crossed in the cyber-mail...sorry, didn't know to mention your name but he remembered me from years ago when I bought loads of other P5 stuff - in fact he recognised my voice on the phone, I didn't think it was that distinctive! I just never thought of him and couldn't remember his name till you mentioned it yesterday.

Quite a bit of P5 stuff was pinched from earlier Rovers and Land Rovers anyway - not the other way round!
