After 35 years, 1 month and 18 days, my 1970 Mk.7 Bolwell left on Saturday with its new owner. Very sad. At least it will now be finished and I may even get to see it again. It's been both a link to my youth, and a millstone around my neck, but I miss it already. A very strange jumble of feelings.

John, the new owner has promised to keep me informed of progress. Who knows - I may even get a drive one day.
Oh, wow - Thanks Glenn. This may seem strange but I have never thought of searching You-Tube. I've never seen that before, although I know of that car. There were only about 400 Mk.7s made. Probably only 200 made it onto the roads. Many were raced. A couple were totally destroyed in the bushfires earlier this year.
Must do some more searching.
