I'm just helping to process the entries to the National. There have been a few people sending cheques. Please don't - you pay on the day. Also please remember to enclose an SAE. On the entry form check the box for saloon or Coupe as appropriate (there are a few missing to date). Lastly could you please write your reg number down clearly - some are difficult to read. Many thanks - look forward to seeing you at Duxford Steve M

Hi organisers - can you tell me wherabouts in the Duxford site the rally will be held please?
At the 2007 Eastern Region rally it was right at the far end near the big new Tank museum hanger rather than the the other "front" end nearer the runway etc.
The far end is far too remote from the exhibits for us and the hanger cut off the view

Have now processed over 90 entries so should be a good turnout. Not sure about the weather, but the forecast does not look too bad for this region.
Duxford expect between 500 and 600 cars with all the other clubs attending.
Look forward to seeing eveyone on Sunday from 10-00am onwards.

I have had to decide now whether to go to Duxford tommorrow and given today's awful weather, the from perfect forecast by the Met office (even given they are not very good at it) and the distance I cannot really justify attending.
I was looking forward to attending and meting some of you again and perhaps new faces but one day soon I hope tol get further than 50 miles!
Hope it is a success and it does at least keep dry!

Get well soon Phil I must say I got up at 6am today and the sky is still blue. I went for a naked run through the woods (better then mint moutwash any day) I noticed some other people running away from me in the opposiite direction. They seemed to be enjoying themselves though as you could hear them screaming I will post some photo's later...........of Duxford

Thanks for the sentoments I will lokk forward to these as I was to attending but make sure you do not mix the photos up otherwise I will have to wield my Moderator powers! The idea of past and future ops is to allow me to reduce my use of narcotic and depressant drugs usually given to terminal patients (I am not terminal or at quite the levels of the late Michael jackson but I have a lot of side effects and now also am experiencing withdrawal symptoms which are far from nice). I will then be able to return to some normality for me anyway It been sunny here but clouding over and that warm either '(

Thanks to the organisers of today's show, I enjoyed it very much, the sun shone and TAH375G enjoyed a good run.
Well done all, Rusty
