Yes I sold the old style log book with Roald Dahl's signature on it, went to a German collector, i bought the car as well but it was rotten, stood outside for years, was an early F reg saloon, sadly had to be scrapped, Paul McGann's car i think is raising the profile of our cars, he said to me today he cant drive along the street now without someone waving to him, the Rover had a good showing on the Sky History of the Motor Car programme last night and The One Show last Friday. For those of you who didnt see it Chris Evans wanted to buy Paul's car, pheraphs he will ask me to find him one!!! David Green

I missed the One Show on the 16th as I'm not really a fan of the show and it's too late to catch up. Anyone got any links to that or to the Sky programme?

Does anyone know what? Is he a member? I'm not on Twitter but if you just search under chrisevans twitter on the net, you'll get a picture of his Coupe. I know he likes these cars because his Actor friend Paul Mcgann also has a Coupe which he's owned for years. It was featured on the One Show last year I think.

Does anyone know what? Is he a member? Chris arrived at a local meet in September with this
with a child seat in the front and back-up with a regular car driven by his wife.
Maybe if he'd travelled down to Christchurch in the rover they would have only needed the one car!!

Hi All,
I bought a River P5 MK1 1961 recently, it still at the dealer in Holland, which is supposed to be driven by Mr. Heinz of the American Heinz Ketchup Company. Once the car and the documents arrive I will investigate!

Indeed... Marwood ( As portrayed by Yon McGaaaaaaaannn in the cult filum Withnail & Marwood ), does indeed own a white P5B. . Interesting fact is that he always wanted to own one, and he used his first weeks wages from playing Marwood in said film to buy it. . Still drives it today. . Also... Roger Moore drove one in a mad 70's filum where he died and then came back as himself to haunt and then kill himself (the 70's were weird)... and i could be wrong but didn't Rutger Hauer have sex in a P5B in another weirdly random 70's filum?

I also thought it was an almond P6 in Lock, Stock. ....... Maybe there were two Rovers in it Certainly were, sorry for the confusion:- The P5 was used at the end when the guns were removed from the boot, and thrown over the bridge. The shot was at night but may have been Burnt Grey.. Will check, but think it was Eddie, Nick Moran's character wot dun it And Glenn, where are these cartoons coming from? My email account is going to be shut down as SPAM the number of people I'm sending them on to... ;D NOT a Jade fan! There were indeed two rovers. . Vinnie Jones crashed a P6 into the back of an old granada estate towards the end, before smashing the guys head in the door. . Aaaaand the P5B was at the very end on the bridge... the final scene where he went to throw the shotguns into the Thames off of battersea bridge.
