My Rover spent first 14 years of it`s life in the heart of London, first owned by Soho company Galvatechna Ltd and therefore by different owners lived in Mayfair.
Can anybody supply me with info about Galvatechna LTD?

Did anyone see the P5 in the repeat of George Gently shown Wed in London area - the Number was 263 BNR - Dark Green - does this car still exist and is that its actual Number - it was set in 1964 - Does anyone have it or was it hired for the Series - I will have to look up when it was originally filmed.

My dad once had a 3.5 saloon which he traded in for a merc sl (w107) back in the early 80's which was then bought by the "Blow Monkeys" as the tour car One of those Monkeys bought a saxophone from my friends brother.

When I visited David Green a few months ago he had a P5B Coupe that he was getting restored for the actor Paul McGann (above right). Don't know if you remember that late 80s movie 'Withnail and I' with Richard E Grant (above left) set in the late 60s and featuring that tatty old MKII Jag? Richard. My coupe is looked after the same garage in Herne Hill that McGann takes his P5 to. His lives in Dulwich I think.

A friend of mine back in the early 80s bought a lovely Admiralty Blue/Buckskin saloon, HXF...J (regd from Sept 70 in Torbay) from a Mrs Curry (as in Currys electricals), or it might have been from executors. I seem to recall it had been chauffeur driven and it was absolutely lovely.
It was kept in a small collection for many years and then sold on and is, more than likely, still out there somewhere.

I own a P5B Coupé (registered JNG 322L when it was in UK) wich was owned when new by Lady Clare MANN. I was told that she is a member of a brewer family famous in England, but as a Frenchman, I don't know if it's a "celebrity" or not
